I met Nel in a local “PoGay” pageant a few months ago.
I was one of the judges.
PoGay is short for “poging gay” (handsome gay). Ever since it was coined by a noontime TV show, it has been used widely to refer to good looking gay men. It is just so witty!
Among the contestants, I must admit, Nel was just outstanding. He has the height, stage presence, looks, talent, and the brains! A total package. And as expected, he grabbed the minor awards one by one and emerged the title holder.
As a treat, I asked the organizer if I can give him a portfolio on top of the prizes. =)
